In 1947, former police officer Rafael Jones has just opened his own private investigation business, and he already has two cases. One has him helping Interpol locate some stolen Russian art from the time of the last czar. The other has him checking out a mysterious cult that seems to be ‘recruiting’ employees of his friend Eugene Marshall, the wealthy inventor and entrepreneur.

As he dives in deeper, he discovers that the cult is being run by vampires, and their leader is the legendary Mad Monk of Russia, Rasputin! The Mad Monk was already a vampire when his assassins tried to kill him back in 1917, and only succeeded by dropping him in the river (running water can paralyze a vampire).

Now, Rasputin wants Eugene Marshall and his incredible brain, along with his vast wealth and resources, to help him reclaim Russia. But even more worrisome is the fact that he also wants Rafael to join his ranks!

Will Rafael’s world, or his very existence, ever be the same again? You’ll have to listen to find out…
